The gig tickets serve purely as nice memories whereas the invites always get lost in the month running up to the party and then you're standing in the toy shop wondering who this kid is and what they like, and draw the clues from theme of the invite (ah, so Tom is all about the Avengers. No more, "Is that casserole my kids love under pasta? Kids? Favorites?" and digging through the book I think it's in. COOK BOOK - Having a self-currated cookbook is awesome, because I can use tags instead of "sections" to organize.
